What Is This Workshop About?
Gender dysphoria is when someone has an emotional or physical feeling that feels misaligned with their gender identity. This class is geared towards helping ourselves, partners or other loved ones experience the opposite of dysphoria, gender euphoria!
We'll explore how positive, gender-affirming physical, emotional, & mental intimacy can make ourselves or others feel more aligned with their beautiful, authentic selves. This class was developed to support fellow trans bodies, as well as their partners, and is accessible to everyone regardless of gender identity.
Finally, towards the end of this class, we will help you develop your own “Gender Affirming Profile” or navigate helping a trans partner create their own Gender Affirming Profile!
Gender non-conforming people may also benefit from pieces of this to create their own unique Gender Affirming Profile. People who are not familiar with trans bodies or terminology are also encouraged to attend. We are here to educate without stigma!
Please note this class is GREAT for partners of trans people & trans people alike!
What Should Attendees Know?
⚫ Participants may use electronic devices to access notes.
⚫ Be aware that masking is optional for attendees. The presenters will not be masked when instructing.
⚫ Beginner friendly. Great for partners of trans people, trans people, & people who would like to be more informed about trans bodies!
Who are your instructors?
Facilitator bio (short blurb):
Lady V
Lady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator & organizer. Lady V is a Professional Dominatrix, Bootblack, & hucow is a self-proclaimed “Jewish-American Pleasure Princess”.
Lady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events.
She is an out, proud, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. While hailing from Detroit, MI, she has settled in Salem, OR, where she serves as the majordomo for her leather family, the Atomic Army.
She hopes to inspire others to enjoy sex positivity from an authentic place, as well as embrace their spiritual place with leather & find healing within it. Jamie Love
Jamie (She/they) is the executive director of Sex Positive World; she has been hosting speed dating since 2019. She is polyamorous, queer, and kinky, with a love of shibari/rope bondage. She leads discussion groups and classes on relationships of all sizes, orientations, and dynamics. About Sex Positive World:
Sex Positive World is an umbrella organization that encourages and supports worldwide sex-positive communities. We are an entirely volunteer-run non-profit committed to changing societal ideas and values around sexuality through education and empowerment.
Our umbrella covers all aspects of human sexuality, including gender and orientation (LGBTQIA), relationship styles (monogamy-polyamory), and sexual expressions (kink, tantra, lifestyle). We focus on consent and boundaries, how to have a sexy safer sex talk, body-positivity, healthy touch, sexual health, reproductive freedom, trans rights, anti-racism (yes, this is a sex-positive issue!), sex-positive parenting, and more.
