What Is This Workshop About?

Rope Bondage 100: Mobility and Immobility is a class focused on the art of using ropes to mobilize and immobilize the human body. In this class, students will start with a basic understanding of where not to place rope by learning about the nerves throughout the body.

They will learn how to create single and double-column ties, our foundational ties for almost every harness. We will discuss the risks and rewards of different bondage positions, especially those that allow for mobility and those that restrict.

Additionally, students will explore concepts such as communication, consent, and aftercare, all of which are essential for creating a safe and pleasurable bondage experience.

By the end of this class, students will have a deeper understanding of the intricacies of rope bondage and be able to confidently explore and experiment with these techniques in their own practice.

This class includes a live demo. Please be prepared to witness clothed partnered rope bondage. You will then practice either on yourself or a partner.

What Should Attendees Know?

⚫ This workshop is beginner-friendly! No previous experience is required to attend.

⚫ Please bring a 30-foot long rope (jute or hemp) and your own safety shears. These items can be purchased online, or at the shop prior to the workshop.

⚫ Be aware that masking is optional for attendees. The presenter will not be masked when instructing.

⚫ To ensure a functional and informative workshop for all, attendance will be limited to 16 people. Be sure to get your tickets early!

Who is Mistress Knotty?

Mistress Knotty (she/they/he) is a certified sex educator, kink educator, rope and bondage instructor, co-founder of Knotty Productions, lesbian, domme, and employee of As You Like It in Ashland.

Kingsley Killer (They/Them) is a Kink educator, co-founder of Knotty Productions, Pan-sexual, Switch, Rope Bottom
