What Is This Workshop About?

Ritualistic Kink invites you to go beyond the usual boundaries of play — to explore kink as a space of intention, meaning, and connection. In this class, guided by Mx.Knotty’s trauma-informed, sex-positive approach, participants learn how to create intentional scenes and design rituals that honor different dynamics within relationships — whether you’re exploring dominance/submission, power exchange, sensuality, trust, or emotional intimacy.

Through thoughtful instruction and guided practice, you’ll discover how to:

    •    Set clear intentions and agreements before entering a scene, helping partners align on energy, boundaries, and shared purpose.

    •    Build symbolic rituals — such as grounding gestures, transitional moments, acknowledgments, or ceremonial framing — that mark the shift into a different space of presence, power, and vulnerability. (In ritual-based kink, everyday objects, gestures or tools can transform into symbols of control, trust, devotion, or surrender.)

    •    Explore and define dynamic roles within your relationship — whether you identify as Dom, Sub, Switch, or anywhere on the spectrum — and craft scenes and rituals that feel meaningful, consensual, and expressive of your unique desires and energy.

    •    Apply communication, consent, negotiation, scene-crafting, and aftercare skills (core offerings of Knotty Productions) — grounding your ritualistic play in clarity, safety, and mutual respect.

REFUND POLICY

• Please note, all ticket sales are final.

• There are absolutely no returns for purchase of tickets to an event.

• No refunds, but Rainchecks are available up to two days before the event for a $3 fee per ticket.

Note for online ticket sales: In order to prevent ticket fraud, you will need to bring your ID and the credit card used to purchase your tickets to the event and show them to an AYLI employee as part of the check in process. Please arrive 15 minutes early so checking in does not eat into class time. Thanks so much!A gentle reminder about As You Like It Events: In order to fulfill one of our core goals of supporting sex educators, the majority of the registration fee goes directly to our facilitators to compensate them for their time, knowledge, and skills. The remainder goes to paying an employee to be on site setting up and breaking down, food costs, and marketing expenses. Eventually we hope to have a fully funded nonprofit side of As You Like It that can offer scholarships for events, but for now, we have to charge a fee for events like this. Thank you for understanding.
