What Is This Workshop About?
The Consent and Boundaries workshop aims to provide comprehensive education on the significance of establishing and honoring personal boundaries and obtaining affirmative consent in interpersonal interactions. Through this class, participants will gain valuable insights into communication skills, self-awareness, and ethical considerations related to intimate relationships.
During the course, we will explore various models of consent, examining their respective advantages and disadvantages. Emphasizing the importance of consent, the class will delve into topics such as the art of requesting and granting consent, maintaining open communication within evolving dynamics, effectively expressing and respecting boundaries, and identifying instances when boundaries have been violated.
What Should Attendees Know?
• Notebook is helpful, but not required.
• Be aware that masking is optional for attendees. The presenter will not be masked when instructing. Please contact the store if you would like to request accomodations.
• Capacity is limited to 16 participants - Get your tickets now to ensure your space in the class!
• Please be considerate to your fellow workshop goers and keep this a fragrance-free space.
• Our event space is wheelchair accessible but unfortunately the bathroom is not. If you are in need of any accomodation, please let us know.

• Please note, all ticket sales are final.
• There are absolutely no returns for purchase of tickets to an event.
• Rainchecks are available up to two days before the event for a $3 fee per ticket.
Note for online ticket sales: In order to prevent ticket fraud, you will need to bring your ID and the credit card used to purchase your tickets to the event and show them to an AYLI employee as part of the check in process. Please arrive 15 minutes early so checking in does not eat into class time. Thanks so much!
