About This Workshop:
If you've been looking to take on a more dominant role in your relationship, or you just want to experiment, this workshop will help you discover and embrace your own personal d-style—just in time for KinkFest or in your own private scenes.
Using personal narrative and a few psychological techniques (consensual, of course), you'll create an assertive d-style that fits you like a leather glove. This d-style will be all yours: an expression of your own dominant side that plays to your own strengths. You’ll also learn techniques for how to use your truth in your own scenes with comfort, whether you’re a new explorer or an experienced player.
In this workshop, you will:
Discover what combination of styles fits your personal strengths, whether that’s mommy domme, brat tamer, pleasure dom, clown, or something else entirely
- Uncover authentic strengths to use in a D/s scene
- Learn how to combine your style with communication and interpersonal techniques to create just the vibe you want
- Integrate active listening and emotional attunement to accommodate your s-type’s needs
- Understand how empathy strengthens your scene
What atendees should know:
- Bring something to write with. A notebook with pen or pencil is suggested.
- Partners are welcome but not required - solo writing is an amazing thing!
- Masks are optional (the presenter will not be masked during the event)
